Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Charlayne Woodard

I saw her play Tituba in "The Crucible", and I wished I'd played it that way. It's what I was going for, but I wasn't skilled enough to bring it out of me. I played Tituba at the Vancouver Playhouse, but after seeing Charlayne Woodard, I felt like a student in a bad high school play in comparison. Why isn't this woman more appreciated?
    Yours Truly,
    Lovejam

I'm sure you did just great. I'm always critical of myself, too. Hey, Nicole Kidman hates watching her performancesshe thinks that she is terrible! (That is why I think she's crazy!).
But yes; where was Charlayne's Oscar for her performance as Tituba?!?!? And she does need to be appreciated more.
