raybeckm: I'd love a link with the statements made by Max Wright. So far, no one has ever reported any responce from Max Wright following this incident, so I highly doubt you have anything to offer other than BS.
You could always prove me wrong though.

Would be intereb68sting to see these facts you mention, because a sleezy magazine article with doubtful pictures just doesn't cut it.

I knew Max for a few years in the 90's, he was a sweet, generous, hilarious friend. HE HAS ALWAYS STRUGGLED WITH ALCOHOL AND DRUGS.
The stigma of being gay is the root cause. For many gay men, especially of that generation, the only way they could deal with the guilt to have the sex they really wanted to have was to be high. Sex with male prostitutes is another way closeted married men deal with having sex while rationalizing they are not really "gay".
Hope he gets help, there was a lot more to him than Alf.

Yes, I remember when he fellated the homeless guys with the ALF puppet stunning!
AFAIK this story is still a rumor. People in the thread have been making claims but offering no support for them.
"It was on the news!"
"He admitted to it in an interview!"
Really? Where? (Chirp chirp)
Shorter version: Links or it didn't happen.
It is, after all, a man's reputation we're talking about here, even if it's a discussion thread on some dumb message board. -

Here is a blog with pictures from the Enquirer. Personally, I don't buy it. The guy in the pictures doesn't even look like him, and then there is the source itself. The Enquirer has about as much clout as The Sun, The New York Post, The Globe, or The Star. If it had actually happened, it would have been all over the news (and I mean credible news agencies that don't use checkbook journalism as their way to get a story), no one would be buying ALF in syndication, and his career would be over. However, he has been married for almost 50 years and is still a working actor.
