catbee35, shut up. Everyone deserves peace when they die, regardless of what they have done in this life. If you know anything about her past you'd know how hard she had it on this planet. It would be sick to wish her continual suffering even after she vacates it. She never found peace while she was here, it would be cruel to hope she didn't find it even after she'd gone. Her life was no fairy tale from the moment she was born. She may have killed, but she was not born a killer and one can only hope she found some sense of peace.

That is a very intelligent, thoughtful, and courteous reply.
This woman had an appalling background, her story points up how sick some sections of society are.
Our background determines who we are, and what we become.
She never had a chance. -

So when you murder someone remember that. She had a beep life and from someone who has faced one herself I can say It didn't have to happen. It was not her fault all the beep happened. Have a heart and think about those who suffer from childhood abuse and the impact that has on their adult life when they can't escape ther effects of their abuse.

All you have to do is read her entire background. I am surprised she did not kill more. This was one of the worst childhoods anyone could go through. Please show me anyone who grew up the way she did and tell me if they were successful in life, and I will stand corrected.

Lots of people have been abused very badly but they don't become killers- think about that and realize although Wuornos was a tragic figure she was also a murderer who could've killed your uncle or somebody.

HmmmOf course people have been abused very badly and don't become killers. That is a no-brainer. I don't need to think about it. I am not saying she shouldn't be locked up, I just don't agree with the death penalty for her. She killed johns, some married, and one was even a convicted rapist. Anybody, family member or not, who would pay a total stranger prostitute for sex, not knowing a thing about them has to lay in the bed they made for themselves and live or die by their choice.
