Ohmigod, u sound like a do-gooder. First of all, Pity is usually worse than rejection. everyone blames society for all their problems. many, many people have had worse lives than that woman, but they didnt turn out as murderers. she didnt deserve to die but ihate it when people feel sorry for her. what about the men she killed?

you can't say those men were law-abiding (Richard Mallory) or even if they were hardworking, the fact of the matter is that every human life is equal and no body should have the right to kill people. Wuornos was mentally disturbed and that can help us understand why she killed but it does not justify itor does it?

Generalizing a person's situation and comparing it to another person's is such a tired and unprogressive way of criticizing a person. People are DIFFERENT. They have DIFFERENT life stories and have DIFFERENT reactions to their very DIFFERENT experiences. Some people can handle things, some can't. Just because one person comes out of a traumatic experience as a socially acceptable person, doesn't mean all people who go through the same traumatic experience will.

Why should those 7 men die for what others have done???
Thats just stupid, you cant say that the killing was justified beacuse she had a ruf life.
She killed men for other mes sins, she deserved to die.
To awnser what good death does, it keeps her from killing inicent people agian and it doesnt cost mutch.
I am against death panelty, but some people deserves to die, and she was one of them.
I hope she died a painful death. (And sins I dont belive there is any thing like a afterlife or a god or devil, I dont belive she can be puniched more after death so I hope she died a painful death.)

You cant say that nothing justifies killing and then believe that she deserved to be executed. If thats not hypocritical then I dont know what is.

im not saying this to either justify or deem what Lee did, but its quite understandable why. and to those who mentioned how many other women are in the same if not worse position and arent doing what she is, that may be true but how many of them are so drugged out because of it, how many commit suicide over it. and there are those who did what lee did and killed because its survival. or their thought for survival.
But to those who say she deserved to be killed for killing those men. how is that any different killing a murderer for killing a rapist ? no matter what its still killing. besides there are worse punishments then death . -

To people who think you would kill because you had things happen to you like the things that happened to her:
I have been raped, beaten, molested, tortured, and tormented by members of my family and at the age of 26 have yet to kill or want to kill anyone. In fact, I got married, had a baby, and am now majoring in accounting and will graduate in 4 months. I did all this without professional help to. It's all a state of mind and what you are capable of. Once you become an adult, you can't blame your childhood anymore. That was the first step I took as an adult to get my life together. It would be easier to blame my childhood or others around me, but in the end my actions are my own.
It was obvious she needed help, but feeling pity for her is also not the answer. Pity doesn't help anyone.
