To a generation or two, maybe more, everybody's "Favorite Mother". We love you.

She was indeed legendary; she was blessed with a fantastic career and we were blessed for having seen her in memorable roles (Margaret Anderson, "Father Knows Best", Amanda Grayson, aka Spock's mother in "Star Trek"), just to name a couple. A truly classy lady who will be missed.

She did, indeed, "live long and prosper." Miss Jane's gracious presence on screen is one of the most delightful memories we all will carry. I'm sure that TV Land, AMC and TCM will do retrospective memorials to this wonderful actress. There will never be another like her not from the sleaze grinder that Hollywood has become today.
Rest in Peace, Miss Jane thank you and God Bless You! -

Ms Wyatt, your movie and TV credits (on IMDb) span the years 1934 to 1997, with almost no gaps until the 1980s. That's an incredible run. You touched the lives of countless millions who will miss a classy, talented lady. Thanks for everything.

I consider myself very lucky to have been born in 1952. I "grew up" with family shows of the '50s and '60s. I considered Jane Wyatt to be poised, elegant, and talented. Heaven is blessed again with this Soul having returned. I'll always have fond memories of this lady of polish and refinement!
Thanks for being a part of my childhood - it always felt so safe AD
PS My son loves Ed, Edd & Eddy.:-)
