Considering the god awful rubbish that passes for 'talent' on the box these days, is it beyond the realms of intelligence or originality for some producer or director out there to bring Peter back? The guy has been away forever yet would only be to pleased to return. Give him a vehicle of his own and see what happens. He did really well first time round and entertained many with his characters and acting skill. Who can forget that big hairdo and the mad looking 70's outfits in Jason King?
Maybe its time to get a little 'Bring back the Garde' campaign going!

I am not sure about Peter being on New Tricks. If he finds fame again he might get up to his old tricks!!
