Uncle
Waldo
was played by Bill Thompson, a veteran radio and voice actor perhaps best known for his portrayal of "Droopy the Dog". I don't hear any resemblance.

Yep, you're confusing your Disney stalwarts here. Both Wynn and Thompson lent their voices to the 1951 animated version of Alice in Wonderland, Wynn to the Mad Hatter and Thompson to both the White Rabbit and the Dodo. Only the Hatter and the Rabbit had screen time together.

As good as Bill Thompson was as the White Rabbit, I liked him even better as Mr. Smee in Peter Pan. Just priceless. He was also good as Hubert in Sleeping Beauty. I do believe Walt Disney employed some of the greatest voice talents that have ever or will ever bring cartoons to life. Ed Wynn's performance as the Mad Hatter was absolutely perfect, among his many great characters.
I laughed when I noticed the OP called the goose in The Aristocats Uncle Albert which was Ed Wynn's character in Walt Disney's 1964 classic Mary Poppins. Too funny. Like Uncle Albert, I too love to laugh.
