Friends and family of the late Anton Yelchin are coming together to remember their friend with an exhibit of the actors photographs.
On Saturday night16d0, Yelchins Star Trek co-stars Chris Pine and John Cho, along with director J.J. Abrams, attended an exhibition showcasing the actors artistic side. The 27-year-old actor who was tragically killed in June was an amateur photographer who shared his moody portraits, dark landscapes and evocative close-ups on a blog dedicated to his photographs and on his personal Instagram account.
Forty images taken by Yelchin are on display at the Other Gallery in Los Angeles as part of the Anton Yelchin Photography Exhibit. The exhibit of his work, which has been described as experimental, provocative and surrealist by the media, brought out a number of famous faces over the weekend.

Sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning, along with A-list actresses Demi Moore and Susan Sarandon were among the stars spotted at the opening of the exhibit, which runs until December 31. Proceeds of the exhibition will go to the Anton Yelchin Foundation which empowers children and filmmaking students.
In the wake of their sons death, Yelchins parents have filed a $5 million lawsuit against the manufacturers of Jeep, claiming a defective gear shift led to the actors death and has caused more than 300 deaths across the U.S., alleging that the company knew the faulty gear shift created a rollaway risk.

In the weeks following his death, Yelchins parents released a statement thanking fans for their outpouring of love and support for the family.
Thank you to all of you who have sent flowers and gifts, for your condolences and kind words and to all who came to celebrate the life of our dear son, Anton, the statement read. We are deeply grateful for your unconditional love for [him]. He would be surprised at how many hearts and souls he touched. Thank you very much.

I agree, it would be amazing to see the exhibit in person, but there's always the Instagram account.
