Really? Somehow getting money will make it better? It was a tragic accident. Let your son rest in peace. Asking for money seems sordid and money grubbing.

If something like this had happened to you, I'm sure you'd want to make them pay. Is not about the money

indeed, it is not about the money. It is about the principle of the fact that Fiat Chrysler was aware of the defect and did not take care of the recall in a timely manner that would have prevented Anton's death. the family has every right to sue.

You ignorant beep. Get some life experience before you opine.
In our justice system, the only way citizens can go after a corporation is a wrongful or civil suit.
It's documented that there is an issue with these Jeeps but people still die.
If corporations won't do the right thing (no regulations needed here folks) then they should pay in a business manner. Maybe then they will stop.
Until then, peasants like you will do as taught and complain when citizens try to take on your corporations. Idiot

Sadly IMDBs blurb about the accident was inaccurate or incomplete and ithe accident was actually caused when his Jeep Cherokee popped out of park which is a defect that Jeep is aware of and is recall worthy. RIP Anton you have touched many people and will be missed ~

FWIW, Jeep voluntarily recalled some 2014 and 2015 Grand Cherokees for this problem back in March and April (3 months before his death). IF he got a recall notice and didn't act on it, maybe Jeep/Fiat isn't so EEEVIL after all?

The idea is to force the auto manufacturer to be held responsible for timely recall notifications that can save lives. When you hit them financially, they finally pay attention.
