He seemed to like doing quirky indie films. He still has 5 completed films 5b4besides Star Trek to be released, so we may not have seen his best work yet. I really liked Alpha Dog and Charlie Bartlett. Have not seen Green Room or Rudderless though. Plan to watch soon.

When I first saw he had died his face was incredibly familiar but I couldn't think what I'd seen him in. Then I read Odd Thomas here and I remembered. It was a really good performance. I'm also surprised by how many people like the film, I thought I was one of a few who had even seen it. In fact I enjoyed it enough to see it again a year or two later.

I think crazily enough, my favorite & most memorable role of his was one he did on "Criminal Minds". Then I thought he did FANTASTIC in Star Trek Anything he did. He was such a gifted and talented actor. I was a huge fan of his parents too as skaters when I was reaaaaaalllllly little. Such a huge loss! Especially with the new Star Trek coming out next month! Ugh!

I like Alpha Dog the best. You give what you get and this is the best he was given. A sad story of how evil mankind is. He brought it to life and his character died to it. Great performances by Bruce Willis and Justin Timberlake (for real?). Hard loss to Yelchin fans.

I got to know him on Taken so that one I'll always remember.
I still haven't watch all his filmography.
