and he wasn't really talented or a great actor before star trek. he just had a good agent who got him the star trek audition. no actor is a great actor at 18 or younger or 19 or 20. it takes time to become a great actor. no actor is born is acting talent which is enough to make you a great actor from birth. you have to work at it mostly in order to become a great actor. it takes years time in high school and college.

I didn't say he had an agent. I said he had a good agent. and saying he had a good agent is not obvious. yeah, young actor awards, which is the same thing as child, not very good, immature, we have to make a separate award for it than the main, golden globe, emmy, academy award awards, etc.
sure, he was respected as a child actor and therein lies the problem with saying he was a great actor. no, 8 years acting as a child actor is not 8 years acting in high school or college. high school acting is different and more professional and prestigious than playhouse, child acting on a stage. -

that wasn't a fact. and they were splitting hairs and putting me down. I only cursed them because they were mean to me. a person gives up the right to be treated nicely if they treat you meanly or rudely and try to hurt your feelings. I have every right to say whatever if someone has a bad opinion.
well then you proved my point for me by saying star trek certainly is not churning out the greatest peformances of all time, because you are agreeing with me and saying that Anton's performances in these movies are not great.
yes it is. high school acting is professional and prestigious, that's where acting starts for actors. and that's where casting directors and directors look when looking for new talent. they look at the video taped footage of high school acting. like John Cusack in high school acting. it has been recorded and viewed and critiqued.
yes, college is going to make you a professional actor, just you saying that shows me you know nothing about professional acting and what it takes to be a professional actor. why do you think they have acting school and film school? and why do you think they always mention film schools like NYU and college acting academies like Lee Strasberg when discussing the art of acting and how actors became great actors?
And, all the great actors who didn't go to college and study acting, they honed their craft on the set and at auditions, but becoming a great actor takes years of studying and rehearsing and practicing, so you can never just start out at 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 and be a great actor ever.
and you can never train as an actor for any amount of time before 18 and then be a great actor. if you start before 18 in movies or tv then you can become a great actor but only if you train in acting after you turn 18 because only then are you an adult actor and only then can you train as a professional actor. so you either train as an adult(no younger than an 18 year old actor)for 4 years or you go to college and train to be a great actor for 4 years, right after graduating from high school at 18.
yes, college is going to make you a professional actor. you really know nothing about acting to say that. if it doesn't make you a professional actor then why would anyone go to acting classes in college? and why would Lee Strasburg and NYU film school be so prestigious?
no, Natalie portman and Jodie foster were not professional actors before they went to college. they were amateur actors before they went to college. and I would never call Natalie portman a great actor, so she might still not be a great actor. the same goes for Jodie foster, I would never call her a great actor. but being a great actor is different than being a professional actor, of which both these women became at no younger than 22 years old.
no, you're wrong in saying that when you're getting paid as a child to work with A-listers you are a professional actor. and all child actors are not professional actors, they are amateur actors. -

I never contradicted myself. so, I need to educate myself about the acting profession in terms 5b4of professional acting profession from someone other than you because you can't educate me about it because you don't know shi# about it? is that what you are saying? it sounds like that is what you are saying. if you know about it then tell me about it.
