Ah, no, didn't mean to put you down. Just thought it is even more amazing that he was just 18. Barely grown up, but, as his Star Trek friends said, wise beyond his years. He was perfect for playing young genius C5b4hekov.

but now that he is dead, how on Earth can they continue this Star Trek generation without him? they have to start all over now with a completely different cast. that's the only option.
I mean, he has to be in every movie from now on but they can't change who plays him unless they start a whole new cast. and they can't do that probably because all these actors who have gotten big because of these movies and all these actors who are now known for playing these characters have to continue being in Star Trek films for at least another 10 years, so I have no idea what they are going to do now about his chara5b4cter. -

this is star trek man, one of the biggest and most beloved and respected franchises of all time. and child acting is different than adult acting. adult acting requires a lot more acting ability and talent and is a lot more closely scrutinized and critiqued than child acting.

no, you missed my point. my point is that child acting is not respected as much as adult acting and they never use child actors who are still child actors in adult highly coveted or highly respected roles. not true, his acting history was child acting and immature, peripheral, softball acting. he didn't have any credibility until star trek.

no, you're missing the point. if it weren't for his child acting, he wouldn't have been able to audition for his older roles, and his older roles got his foot in the door to auditioning for star trek. he's been acting for years, yet youre making it seem like he had only been in the industry for 1 or 2 years before getting the part. before star trek he was not a fresh face.

no, you're missing the point. he was a child actor before being in star trek. no one, and I mean no one knew who he was before star trek. he was in like a couple big, Hollywood movies in 2001 along came a spider and another one and he was then, wella child actor, so he wasn't known for his acting ability before star trek.
