I must say, I'm really sad that Mackenzie has decided to leave The Bold and the Beautiful. She's a very talented actress and I'm glad her career is rising to better opportunities, but I thought she was a breath of fresh air for the show. I wish her all the best, and she will be greatly missed on the show. No one will ever be Phoebe again in my eyes.

I find your reply rather flippant, rude and heartless. I can't stop crying. I just watched Friday's show at CBS.com, and I'm watching today's on Tivo now. Mackenzie was excellent as Phoebe. I don't see any new or upcoming credits in her bio, so why she chose to quit 6 months ago makes no sense. She's only 20, they didn't need to kill her character. This is senseless. I wish her well, but I will really miss Phoebe.

Immediately afterward and during her last few weeks on Bold, Mackenzie had already started on Tale of Two Cities which went to Broadway in September. She is now working on a potential broadway bound play called White Noise. Certainly you couldn't have expected someone with Mackenzie's talent to stay on Bold forever with such miserable writing!

The sheik will bring her back from the dead when MM's career dictates that she needs to return to the B&B. Just like mom.
There's good-bad and there's bad-bad. The writing on the B&B is a perfect example of bad-bad. For any actor with half a brain who lasts more than 6 months, each one should get some kind of an endurance trophy.
