Drake is a God on Spotify. He has the most monthly listeners, the most streams of any artist and the most streamed song ever on the platform. "One Dance" is the most streamed song ever. It's like he owned Spotify; Spotify was made for people to listen to Drake.
Why is this? What do you think? -

What I mostly wanted to say is that it's not the same popularity and hype on iTunes or Youtube, or radio. It's Spotify, specifically. For example, "Too Good" didn't make it past top 20 on itunes but it was #3 on spotify US, during weeks.
He just releases a song and it goes straight to #1 on Spotify USA or something.
He was also the most listened male in 2015 and of course in 2016 and his accumulation of streams is ridiculous.
An overwhelming amount of streams on Spotify put his album 10 weeks at #1 on Billboard 200. Because at some point, 80% of his chart positi1908on were streams. Positioning all his album songs on billboard hot 100 because of the streams on Spotify.
He made history because of streams on Spotify. Drake is Spotify.
