After accidently watching Line of Fire (as I was searching for NYPD Blue), I ended up a fan of the show and am disappointed that it's not coming back (save for the 2 hour movie on 5/30). There are several good characters on the show, 238but Julie Ann Emery stands out - perhaps because she's the most "normal" of all the characters as she struggles to balance being a mom with being a fibbie. Or maybe she reminds me of my wife - tough, occasionally conflicted, and totally hot at the same time. Whatever the case, I hope she turns up in a longer-lived show sometime soon.
And no, I'm not a relative nor have I acted with Ms EmeryI just like her style. -

Hear, hear!!!
I completely agree with her being a brilliant actress as well as an exceedingly attractive woman. She's exibiting some serious force of personality in 'Line of Fire' and I think she is just generally GREAT! Wheee!
I especially like her performance in 'LoF' where she's just boiling underneath with sometimes barely restrained frustration and angerand then it explodes. It's both great acting as well as, in my mind, very attractive. Tough, conflicted and yet totally hotthanks for the expression, previous poster. :] -

Look for this actress in Rod Lurie's current ABC show
"Commander in-chief" which stands to be TVs top political drama now that the West Wing has been given the axe.
Julie-ann Embry's Character Secret Service Agent Joan Geer gaurded First Daughter before a shakeup caused her lose her job. I didn't see her exit show 'First Diaster' and please no spoilers it ruins viewer surprise maybe Joan Geer will return when the new showrunner takes over, a vet of 'Profiler' like this writer the escapes me.
Anyway Joan Geer could have should've been Special Agent Jennifer Sampson and Fromer AG maleine Blackstone could've been Lisa Cohen because Leslie Hope was involved in Commander's first 5 episodes did you guys catch the Richmond reference in "Commander" Mac was a professor at Univesity of Richmond where funny enough the FBI battled the Mob on "Line of Fire"
