And how about the race itself!? Very entertaining to watch with the multiple rain showers. Can you imagine 140 MPH into a corner with driving rain falling?
Love the track. Rolling elevations, banked turns, tight slow turns, and weather and real people in the stands, not a flat hot desert track at night.
Government subsidies of exactly ZERO. All private financed, and ticket sales. No private cars allowed to drive to the track, all the fans had to ride bicycles. They park them along the beach, unlocked. 60,000 of them!- It sure looks like it's dead. Let's eat. +

I saw that photo with a caption about how the hell does anyone find their bikes and a Dutch person replied saying this is how this is normal for them and not a problem finding their bikes and it is just how things are done over there. Pretty cool.
And yes, the race itself was a good one. Crazy when the rain started coming down just as the lights went out. I can't stand Max but the rest of the results were pretty good
