the problem is you are just seeing them as being similar because they were both extremely beautiful at one time. but you are not seeing how they are not comparable in terms of how good of actors that they are or how quality of actors that they are in terms of their pedigree and respectability and their class. kim basinger had class, megan has never had class.
a huge franchise which a movie was made based on it which id beyond bad as stupid and has no worth. she just acted in it because she is beautiful not because she's a great actress. -

What has Megan Fox ever did to show that she has no class? She never made a record of sex noises like Basinger did (And by the way I'm a big Basinger fan).She never did sex tape (as far as we know).She has never even done nude scene or photo shoot.
As for acting in a bad movie let me put it this way. Charlize Theron,Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt are very beautiful and very talented and they were all in the Huntsman movie which was terrible and was the sequel to the equally terrible Snow White movie. -

It means she is a very insecure girl who is not confident with her own body.That is actually something a lot of people can relate to.
The sex noise thing is a record that Basinger did with Prince in which she just recorded herself having an orgasm or faking one.I don't know I wasn't there. -
