It's one of the many things Patrick and I have in common when it comes to things in the dark realm, and reasons why we are friends.
We had talked about the wearing of vials of blood of another around the neck, (such as your partner, or best friend), and what some people don't realize is that you can't just randomly put blood in a vial and screw a cap on it, but you have to add an anticoagulant powder into the blood in each vial and seal it, like with wax, or seal the top with superglue to make sure no air gets inside. You have to know what you're doing. (We do). lol
You can also wear a vial of your own blood, but I'd never risk doing this in case it were lost or stolen.

Some friends and cohorts choose to wear things like this to demonstrate they're inseparable.
It's really all a matter of choice, preference, lifestyle, appreciation and taste. What appeals to one group of people may simply not appeal to another group of people nothing.
