Yeah, I stayed in a hotel in Katy. It's kinda ugly in that area. A lot of grey new buildings and blandness. I think the HEB I went to was also in Katy.
I went to the Baytown Bucees though.

It is all built up. They have the Katy Mall with a water park etc. Only downside is it floods there.

We did that around the pandemic, but they'd always be out of what we wanted. Also, since I started being the one who does it, I kind of wing some of the meals, and figure out what I want to cook while I'm there, often based on stuff like sales on meat.
