Depends on how early you are talking about, the location and the store.
Maybe it is OK for you but not for someone in say NY or LA.
I find there are pros and cons whenever you go.
Like there is a chain groc. store here and the best time I prefer is 8 pm or later.
However they only have self checkout starting at 9 and if you have a big load then it isn't so great.
Better for 15 or less.
You can always check the Google graph if your store has it to see how busy or not it is.
