Sounds nice.
We miss family and have been very bored over the last couple years. A son and his gf may come for grub but that depends on the snow and the mountain pass. Other than that not doing much of anything. -

I'm taking it easy on Christmas day itself but I've a selection of roasts to go between then and into New Years. Beef, ham, turkey, chicken, seafood, veggie stuff and all the trimmings
It should be good but it's all in the execution. Prep and dishes are a labour of love but balancing everything ready for the table is where my head is
Well you're tech savvy, you'll be chatting with family and friends I expect. Insta'ing all the food and gifts to each other

I always found cooking a chore.
Facetime is where it’s at for us. We don’t use social media these days after the initial curiousness. I use Whatsapp to talk to across the ponders. -

Whatsapp isn’t user friendly especially for the elderly which my siblings are but they have kids and grandkids to show them the way.
My husband has many sisters who were older and taught him how to cook. He’s been at it a while. -
