no she isn't 100% black. her mother is white her father whom she never knew is black. she grew up in a white household in a small white town in rhode island she has said this in plenty of magazines and tv shows when she was popular. i don't know where sinortab got there facts from.

Im english ok, i know about the mobo awards and yes i do know that it stands for Music Of Black Origin so dont try and act like im some on stupid ish. I didnt watch the mobo's this year but i thought that Justin, and christina, were there. I guess not. Oh well. Y you tryna act like i dunno kim and blu are black, i have seen em? Good for them talkin bout blacks but what did that have to do with my1c84 original post, and whyy ou bringin the mobo's into it? I dunno what u on rite now, so ima just gonna go now..

If she grew up with her Italian-American mother in a "white" town and she never knew her African American fa16d0ther, I'd say she's more Italian then anything else. Certainly she's genetically mixed but if you never even knew one of your parents and you grew up with the other you can't say she got much in common with him anyway. It was when she got famous when her black heritage was trendy to mention.
