A song on his 'solo album' Jump Biatch, I heard that was originally titled 'Eric Clapton jr' or something to that extent, was he attempting to be funny?

Originally he was to going to put the name of a classic rocker in every song on Searching for Jerry Garcia. He had forgotten what happened to Eric Clapton's son when he named the song. When he realized the connotation he changed the name. He dropped the concept altogether and only got as far as "Kurt Kobain". Eric Clapton's son was not named Jr., didn't jump he fell, and was not a woman, so the song is not about him.
The revolution will now be televised. Sundays on Adult Swim.
