Guru from Gang Starr is my favorite rapper of all time and would destroy Lil' Wayne in any rap battle.

Some good names on that list. All about a thousand times better than Wayne.

asen, I thought it was hilarious of all the rappers you named meaning like everyone is better than Lil' Wayne but the "are 'some' that come to mind" was the icing on the cake.

The fact is, the reason you say underground rappers can't be better than your beloved "Weezy F Baby" is because you simply don't have the the intellectual capacity to understand hip hop. I'm not saying he's garbage, because there are countless trash rappers out in the mainstream today, and he's one of the more skilled manstream MC's (which isn't saying much at all) but seriously, he's NOTHING compared to real MC's. When you're stimulated by a line like "I stay on the bread like sesame seeds" that says more about you than him. I don't care if you like him, but please if you think he's the best rapper alive, or even close, you know nothing about hip hop.

I don't know why you are mentioning Eminem because Eminem himself says he shouldn't beep with Weezy freestyle. Please.

Is their new album that bad that it's on Lil Wayne levels? That's sad.

I do think the midwest has some good rappers and they're usually not all blown-up like rappers from the south. Big L in my opinion would have to be the best NYC rapper.

you guys are giving tupac way too much credit. he was wack too. biggie woulda MURDERED pac if they were to battle. pac is LUCKY. the only rappers that pac beep on was mobb deep and nas. he was VERY 5b4lucky that nas didn't respond back to his ass because i guarantee you pac woulda caught what jay caught about 5 years after against all odds came out.

Good to know they're still some sane rap fans around here. I would love to know what kind of crack people are smoking when they claim Lil' Wayne is the best(or one of the best) rapper alive. In fact, I think he's terrible.

Yeah, I was surprised to find as many hiphop fans on IMDb. There're a lot on the Eminem board.

I love how everyone hates on Wayne because he puts out a lot of music now and because he is talked about. The guy has catchy songs and sweet rhymes, who cares if people like him. can nobody have a different opinion then you?? Are you guys the God's of Opinion's?? You all claim the South is weak, what about T.I., Chammiollioanire, Trick Daddy, Plies, Young Jeezy, Outkast, and Three 6 Mafia??

And K-Rino, Ganksta NIP, and some of the people associated with DJ Bless are pretty good, too.
