I like much of her music, specifically the ballads, but I'm not a die hard fan to the point of following her plans that closely. However, I think she could continue to walk the line between pop and country if she wishes to or just go in the country direction as you suggested. Maybe she hasn't even completely decided yet herself.

I guess you didn't see her last interview. She said that her next album will be Pop/Dance. And it'll be released this year or at the beginning of 2015.
Personally I don't care about her country turn.

Well her plans might have changed a bit since she gave that interview, who knows for sure - (how long ago was it?). I'd prefer more ballads over dance music or at least a mixture of both styles.

By Pop/Dance I meant ballads too. Kelly's ballads are pop though. I prefer a mixture of different styles too

Good to see her trying something in a different field, just as many other performers have done. Whether she fails or succeeds is irrelevant - attempting to expand your options and horizons is never a mistake.
Sadly, I doubt it will be long before a certain poster rambles along with a negative comment to make (and I sincerely hope I'm wrong about that).
