She's "not thrilled" about becoming a US citizen"? Then don't become one.

I'm in the process of buying all her dvds. Maybe I'll upgrade to blu ray now.
You're using this place as a platform for your views just as much as she is using her position as a platform for hers.
Why don't you just go to work and do your job and keep your comments to yourself?
I say that sarcastically, obviously. She's got as much right to speak her mind as anyone else.
I'm not thrilled with being a US citizen either. -

Well I am not thrilled being a US citizen, myself. I actually quite hate it. There are so many restrictions and limitations, when you are one and you love to travel internationally. You cant live nor work in EU nor Australia or UK if you are US citizen. Being a US citizens sucks. British people, Australians, and Canadian has a much better opportunity to live in and work internationally.
A part of me wishes I was not born in the US, then maybe I would have a chance to become a permanent resident of the UK. SO I do not blame Emily for not being thrilled in becoming a US citizen.
