Well she looks different, when she was in-character, as Xiao-Mai, in Desperate Housewives. She was cute and sweet-looking, on the show, but take a gander at her profile picture, and some of the others. No doubt that Gwendoline Yeo is attractive.

i beg to differ maybe to non-Asians she looks "hot" because she looks different, but as an Asian myself, she is definitely average, even below average. there are so many other Asian actresses in hollywood and overseas who are far prettier, but of course non-Asians will never see who they are because there are few big Asian roles in Hollywood

I am an Asian and I think she's gorgeous. I honestly don't think Lucy Liu is attractive at all, as for Kelly Hu maybe. She's pretty but I don't go researching her pictures a lot, nor do I care about her. But she does look pretty in X2: United.
Ming Na is stunning too, and she looks fabulous when she played Chun Li in that ultra sh-t fest Street Fighter (she was the best looking girl in that movie).
I think Gwendoline and Ming Na are the most gorgeous Asian actresses I've seen. Lucy Liu isn't even that pretty.
