Am I the only one who thinks she's as gorgeous as very few? I don't want to understimate Aishwarya, Vidya, Madhavan or Abhishek; but I think GURU couldn't have a stronger beginning than the musical number &q238uot;Mayya, Mayya". To see Mallika making the belly dance (and singingMaryem Tollar providing the voice) is one of the hottest experiences the indian cinema (and not just the indian, actually) gave us recently.
This woman is astonishing. What a pity she's just a guest star in Mani Ratnam flick. -

hey bro i tottaly agree with u, but inshallah she will get much bigger and better roles than ash and all the other actress' out there, so they better watch out, mallika's item number was just too damn good. even ash herself couldn't have done it or any other actress' love from canada to mallika, i love u.

Yeah She was amazing, 4 me she stole the spotlight from Ash and Co big time. It really pissed me off that the director didn't invite her to the press junkets, and international premiere for Guru. They turned into the Ab and Ash show.
