Not that anyone will respond to this.

I can explain. A quick look at Tara's filmography will reveal that she played Brigid Polk in a film called "Factory Girl." You would also find that the film is about a real person named Edie Sedgwick and her association with Andy Warhol. A quick Google search of "Brigid Polk" would reveal that she was assciated with Edie Sedgwick and Andy Warhol. With a Google image search, you could find many pictures of the real Brigid Polk. With quick comparison of Tara Summers and Brigid Polk, it would be obvious that Brigid is much fatter than Tara.
The "not that anyone will respond to this" comment is simply the original poster's opinion that it is very unlikely that anyone will respond to the comment. To make an informed reply to the original posters comment, one would have to do a few things things.
1.) One would have to see the film "Factory Girl." The film had a very small theatrical release, and not seen by a very large audience. However, it's been shown on Showtime, so more people will have an opportunity to see it.
2.) One would have to recognize Tara Summers in the role of Brigid Polk. The role is very small, and Tara looks different in the film than she does on "Boston Legal." As a result, it is unlikely that many who saw the film would recognize the actress who played Brigid Polk is Tara Summers.
3.) One would have to know about the real Brigid Polk, and seen a picture of her. As I stated before, when comparing pictures of Brigid and Tara, it would be obvious that Brigid is fatter.
4.) One would have to go online to the IMDb's page for Tara Summers, and read the posts on the message board. They would then have to read the original post, and be take the time and energy to reply.
I hope that explanation helps. -

It also helps if they have an inordinate amount of time on their hands to research this so that they could have the satisfaction of writing a lengthy and rather pompous riposte to a remark thatfor some bizarre reasonthey took personally.

I wasn't sure anyone would reply, either. In fact, this is the first time I've been on Tara Summers' page. I'd seen and loved Factory Girl. I just watched it this afternoon on DVD. I also love Brigid Berlin and am curious about actresses who play her.
I agree, she wasn't fat enough to play Brigid, but had the right hairstyle. Also, in the movie I Shot Andy Warhol, an actress named Coco Mc Pherson played Brigid, and, while fat enough, curiously wore blonde pigtails, which the real Brigid did not.
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.
