I don't know exactly but he's either 21 or 22, probably 22. I went to high school with him and i have always thought he was the most gorgeous guy ive ever met. I just saw the movie too, it was incredible. I knew he had a role but i didn't realize just how major of a role. He is a phenominal actor. This morning on am radio station EEI, which is a Boston area station, they interviewed the real Jack O'Callahan and he said that they gave Mike who played Jack in the movie more time on the ice. He obviously is gorgeous, that goes without saying, but he was tremendous in the movie and an incredible hockey player. I wish i could have gone on a date with him in high school or got to know him better, but im sure plenty of girls would say the same. He was well admired in high school and he actually received the superlative award for most likely to be famous. Go Figure!! He is only going to get bigger and better and i am proud to have known him and joked around with him in high school. He is a fun person to know, looks, sense of humor and tremendous talent. GO MIKE. I heard he has a kid as well. I wonder what he's doing these days and where he's at. He's probably having the time of his life and preparing for more movies. He Rocks!

Did some of you really go to highschool with him? Thats pretty cool. He is very cute and I hope he is not as much as a jerk as some have said that he is. Also if anyone could give me some help I have been looking for some info on him and Eric Peter-Kaiser. Does anyone know where I could find some?

Uhhh weren't you an extra? Well, I just wanted to say that I found it amusing that you were critiquing Michael, who plays a main character, when you're an extra. Obviously you must know more than the producers if you're going to make those declarations. I mean why didn't they just hire you for casting? Probably because you don't know what you're talking about, and wouldn't know a good actor if you saw one. I know being an extra and all, you think you're high and mighty. Well, hate to be the one to tell you, but you were just an extra for a reason. It's quite debatable as to whether you could have done better. Actually, I don't know that I'd use the word debatable, because there's nothing to debate- it's flat out a fact that you couldn't have done better. As for your comment about the end of his career, at least he had a career even if it does end, which it won't because he's incredibly talented. And what does it matter if he looks like a rat in your opinion? We already know your sorry excuses for opinions can only be rivaled by a heap of garden tools. Furthermore, I bet your mother would be ashamed of how your judgements of others are based upon something as superficial as their looks. How shallow and childish. While were on the subject, I'd like to say it's very doubtful you'd have room to talk in that area either. That being said, I hope you'll reconsider your entry and spare us from having to read your disrespectful and impolite comments in the future. Michael- great job in the movie, some people are obviously jealous of your looks and talent.

Ouch! Honey, retract the claws - just because someone else wants to be catty (and then never return to the message board, might I add) doesn't mean you have to stoop to her level. It's probably a better use of your time to save your (considerable) talent for telling people off, to use on someone worth it. Am I right? ^_~

I guess you are right. It's not worth it if the person never returns- obviously the person was just trying to instigate something and then run out on it when it escalated. Michael is awesome, he's gorgeous, he was great in the movie, and whether he's a jerk or not I hope he has a great career.

Look-Mike is one of the greatest guys I know and he is one of my best friends! How dare you judge him! You don't even know him. And by the way he does not look AT ALL like a rat! He is very good looking. So he swears, but doesn't everyone once in a while? I am so happy for him! He is a great actor! Mike-congrats! Much love/luck! You are truly awesome I love you!!

I totally agree with you. As you can see from all my posts I am probably one of the most supportive and complimentary fans on this siteand this is the first and only message board I've ever done! Tell him from megreat job in the movie and much luck in the future. I hope he stays with hockey!
