Oh, please, don't even compare them to the Beatles in popularity, and I'd like to see a cite on your "second fastest" c2000laim. They weren't HUGE.
gotta say though, I've never heard of the Cheetah Girls either lol. -

they have sold close to 60 million records world wide with only 3 albums to their credit. their movie which wasnt the best grossed close to $100 million. had a sold out tour. had the highest debut album world wideand now 3 million people have registered on their site for tickets to their tour

Ruffian402..nicely said..and I'll add let's see the Cheetah girls do that..They aren't the new Spice Girls..The Spice Girls are the Original Queens of Pop..they always will be..and there are no one nt the Pussycat dolls or the cheetah girls who coud be the next them..

The Cheetah Girls had two Platinum selling soundtracks for their movies (one went Double Platinum) and they had their recent tour virtually sold out. They are giving the Spice Girls a good run for their money.

Their songs havent reached above 80 on mainstream charts, but on radio disney they are requested.
For their entire career the Chg has sold 11mil albums in total. Each of the SpG albums has sold at

11 mill.
Cheetah girls didn have a sold out solo tour. They opened for hannah montana. HM is who the fans really wanted 2 c.
Their 3rd album (& 1st real solo album not a soundtrack album full of songs based off songs from a movie on Disney ch) "TCG" came out last month(25 sept) and has solf just 47,ooo total. It has stalled there. Read more here:

lol, when I saw the title of this thread I thought the OP was referring to those 2 girls who went on the X factor dressed as cheetahs and sang 'the lion sleeps tonight' really badlynever heard of them otherwise..
