Well I've seen part of it so far; just giving my impressions: it's definitely something for Beatle aficionados, which I fortunately am. For regular folks the first 10 minutes give a brief intro to the band's history, which is totally unnecessary except Disney anticipates some viewers who know nothing about them.
The recording sessions show them discussing music and life; it's interesting they often reference the "Hamburg days", the Cavern, their first tours, etc. Which is weird because even though those things were only a few years prior, it was a totally different era…but not to them. They begin with I've got a feeling, Don't let me Down, One after 909, Gimme Some Truth, and All Things Must Pass to name a few. The last song being one of George's classics that became the title track of his solo album.
I mean for me it's great because I know exactly what's going on, what they're talking about, the context, etc. For a non-expert it may be boring at times though. But you see the songs coming together and some of the process behind them. This is part 1 which is 2 1/2 hours. There are 2 more parts. Disney + if you don't have it is $8 a month.

Poor Bitch Margo won't be able to watch it because she does not have Dizzy Plus.
I on the other hand will!
Guess she is not a Beatles fan after all because only true and real Beatles fans would get Dizzy Plus to make sure to watch it!

Paul was obviously in charge, he had the songs, he was directing. He was the new dominant figure. George and John didn't like being his backup band. They were trying to accommodate Yoko, even backing up her "singing", but she seemed to be getting on peoples' nerves. It's funny how Heather imitates her. Heather was 6 here; she talked about her kittens. John asked if she was going to eat them
Gotta love how the cops threaten to arrest everyone, and the Sergeant comes and Debbie tells him "you can't go on the roof; it's overweight". But I mean the joke is that in European heaven all the police are British. It's incredible that everything was captured on film from the recording on Let It Be to George "leaving" the Beatles. Maureen was the hottest Beatle wife (aside from Patti); hence George's affair with her. Paul marries Linda just 8 days before John married Yoko. I see what you mean by John's lack of focus with Paul having to reel him in, but during the recordings he was a pro, and his lead guitar on Get Back legendary (I always assumed it was George). But overall it showed all 4 getting along well; no trace of a bitter conflict; I guess that came later. Finally I liked the street interviews when Londoners were asked about their opinion of the rooftop performance. They all liked it except for a couple dorks. But it was quite a departure from the era of Beatlemania just a few years prior, with 1000s of girls chasing them; here it's just two Apple Scruffs. I was 4 at the time of this filming; I'm privileged to have been alive during the '60s era.
