Isn't lupus 100% fatal?

I have family members that have it. They both have kids.
With lupus it depends what organ it is attacking. Liver problems are common. Prednisone is the most common treatment along with antimalerials.
I have no idea what chemotherapy would do for lupus. It's anti inflammatory treatment that is needed. I think chemo would do more harm. It's her business why she was in wherever she was. But it doesn't add up. She seemed evasive when she was on Ellen. It is just not adding up. It's also hard to walk when you have it. Your joints seize up. -

It does add up, actually.
Chemotherapy is a entirely common treatment for lupus, and for perfectly logical reasons.
Lupus is an auto-immune disease, where the body's immune system starts attacking healthy tissue in the body. That leads to inflammation (among other things), so yes anti-inflammatories are also used, but you want to use immune-suppressing drugs to control the symptoms (i.e. try to prevent the inflammation from occurring in the first place), and some of the immunosuppressants that they use are also classed as chemotherapy drugs, such as methotrexate and cyclophosphamide.
It's different to going111c in and having an intensive course of high dose chemotherapy like you'd see for some cancer treatments, but it is still a type of chemotherapy. Prednisone has the combination benefits of being both anti-inflammatory and immune-suppressing, but long term use at high doses is not usually recommended. It's usually used at as low a dose as possible, or used only during flare-ups for a short time.
Anyway, different people suffer differently. As you said, it depends on what organs are targeted, and on the severity in each person. It can be debilitating during a flare, but during 'remission' or in mild forms it can be somewhat manageable. -

Idk about lupus but the chemo would explain why she wore hair extensions a lot although wouldn't she be eventually caught with much shorter hair? Her hair that was said to be extension free wasn't short enough.
I just don't know why she would lie about it. If someone was lying about a disease such as this for sympathy wouldn't they have talked about it before instead of letting the media think they're just hung over Bieber. Unless she's really that sly to hide it at first to make it seem more believable but idk she doesn't seem like she would be THAT good at pulling it off.
I try to live without regret but I'm about to break a sweat. -

Years ago, it was one of those serious diseases like MS, where you eventually died from it, and usually your lifespan wasn't very long if you did have it. I believe American author Flannery O'Connor had that disease, and died from it 12 years after her diagnosis, in the 60s. When she was diagnosed, her family and everybody else treated it like it was a death sentence. (If I remember correctly.) She ended up living a very reclusive life because of it.
I think today it is more akin to how lyme disease is for people. Still debilitating and very serious, but treatments are better, so one's quality of life is better with it, too. I think having kids can be harder, too. Not always, but again, there are a lot of different side effects and issues with it that affect you inevitably. -

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK
my gf has it and it has made her miserable, tired, sick,no sleep, pain, but never a mention of it being fatal.finding the right treatment sucks too cuz you never know what will work or even make any difference so they try everything.
spectre can
suck it. -

If Selena's lupus is that bad then I don't think that it's that much of a good idea to be smoking, since it triggers a nasty auto immune response:

Those pics may be set up to trick. Bad focus +angle +2 people + drugs = view magnet.
(I know that sounds like some excuse, but take 5 minutes to look at all the pictures taken from that)
That being said, of course, she probably does smoke some, pretty sure there are pictures of he5b4r smoking not for films, and maybe she is smoking there, but from what I saw, it's not clear cut.
