Confident is her best album. Unbroken is the next best. Those other albums you named were cookie cutter kid s h i t written by Disney. They lack the experience she now shares with us. Don't get me wrong, I love Disney kid s h i t too but I'm 30 so I relate to her new stuff.

I don't necessarily prefer her older stuff over her newer stuff, or v5b4ice versa. My favorite album of hers is Unbroken, followed by DEMI. I would say that her voice has matured and sometimes I like the way it used to sound better, but at the same time her voice is much bigger and fuller now, so I can't choose. My opinion is all over the place because although my favorite album is the R&B/urban/dance-pop of Unbroken, I've always thought pop-rock (like her first two albums) are where she excels. I even sometimes go back and listen to older Sonny/Camp Rock stuff just because she sounded great back then.
So I guess my answer to this question is I prefer her old sound, but I still think she is great with newer stuff.

I like The 2011-2013 Demi better. The new stuff is a dud imo. I do like the song
            Stone Cold
            but that's about it.
