I think that moniker rightfully belongs to this guy. I think the NBA wants so desperately for Lebron to become the next

You're saying LeBron's the most overhyped for being hailed as the next MJ and only being as good as Kobe Bryant. I say Reggie Bush is far worse for being given loads of endorsements right out of college like he's the next Barry Sanders, and ending up more like the next Brian Mitchell.

How can you say that he is not that good? He has single handedly transformed the Cavs, from a 19 win team, to the NBA championship runner ups. If the Cavs had Kobe, D-Wade, or any other player instead of Lebron, they would not be as good as they are. Likewise, if LBJ was on a team with Shaq, he would be polishing his championship rings right now.

Read stats you think they just make him sound good. Have you looked up stats and reasons he isn't good cause there aren't any. This season he had 8 straight 30-point games and back to back triple doubles. He probably would have mad more if he didn't get hurt but get facts if you want to say he isn't that good
Here are some stats for you from nba.com
LeBron at 22- 31.7, 8.0 and 8.5
Jordan at 25- 32.5, 8.0, 8.0
Pretty good considering that a younger, less-experienced player is right next to MJ

The most over-hyped athlete in sports? I think that moniker rightfully belongs to this guy.
Uhh, every hear of Reggie Bush or Michael Vick. Those are over-hyped athletes. It's hard to over-hype the greatest player in the world.

I have Witnessed LeBron since he was fresh into high school and yes, even back then everyone was hyped (and apparently slobbering) because his game was that good at age 14. He deserves all the hype, he is that good and as everyone else has already noted, he is still young and still growing. His accomplishments are also a pretty good reason for all the hype. You would easily be able to realize that if you take into consideration and of the following instead of just dwelling on the obviously few games you have watched. Leading a poorly funded doomed tda0o close STVM to championship after championship and basically saving the school, to leading them to be the best high school team in the country, receiving a 90 million dollar contract at age 18 and then to be the number one draft pick, starting multiple charities in the greater Akron area to give back to the community and next leading the god awful Cavs to their first chance at the championship in franchise history, are just a few achievements of his and all in just 8 years. I'd be amazed if you had done anything half as worthy of any praise or hype in the past 8 years. Try a little research and have a little respect for the King.

whats sad is people like you who try to talk expertly about sports when you dont know a damn thing but a couple random stats you heard on espn..Lebron is King..hahahah and your damn line HES NOT THAT GOOD! oh man thats terrible..he only had the best numbers in the NBA this season..then you say he cant make the big shots, have that killer instinct, hey man did you even watch the 2007 playoffs? in case you didnt notice, Lebron had 2 or 3 game winning shots in the series against the Wizards then scored the last 25 points and 29 of the last 30 in game 5 against the Pistons..are you an idiot? do some damn research before you try to spit some beep thats all : )

Your argument sucks. Your post is terrible. You also suck and are terrible. Lebron James is the best player in the NBA (and I'm a Tim Duncan fan).
Spider-Man 3 is superior in every way to Funny Games. -

Lebron is the truth. The OP is an idiot. He is the best player in the league right now, and probably will be for the next 10 years. He's gonna win MVP this year, and will probably take at least 3 more league MVP's in his career. And there is a good chance he will win the title this year. Kobe is an extremely close 2nd. I am not a Cleveland fan, but I am not delusional, and i watch the NBA all season long.

Well, Priles, I think you said everything on my mind. What an amazing post, you made my day. I'm glad to see everyone isn't hypnotized by the media nowadays, and you are COMPLETELY RIGHT about every single word you said in your post. I couldn't have said it better myself, even though I wish I could have.
