Let me begin by saying i adamently hate lebron james.
But you cannot say hes a joke. He was not going to win a ring with cleveland, so lets leave that at that. He didnt win while he was there and had an above average supporting cast.
Next, we vilify athletes for going after money and having nothing else but dollar signs in their eyes, well my friend lebron did the opposite of this. he took LESS money to play on a better team. While he wont be jordan, magic or kobe, he will likely be a top 10 possibly top 5 all time all around player when he retires. Also lets not forget the tremendous laker teams that magic johnson was blessed with. Or the fact that when kobe didnt have an all star cast that the lakers were struggling to be the eighth seed in the west.
He will never be Jordan however.
BTW Gary, did you get around to watching the third episode of Arrested development yet

Lebron will quiet you haters soon after he starts winning some championships. So in the meant time talk at the garbage you all want. Cause it won't mean a thing later. The fact is I-obe is a hack cause he forced a trade to the lalas. Cause he didn't want to play for an average team like the Hornets, who drafted him. Atleast Lebron sticked around Cleveland for 7 years before leaving as a free agent. While I-obe whined to Buss that he wanted to get traded to the Bulls back in 2007. Cause of three straight first round exits. Two of them at the hand of the Suns. Jordan and Magic would of left their teams too if their teams refused to give them the talent they needed.

Wrong again lala dreamer! i-obe protested constantly to be traded from the Hornets to the Lalas. Afterwards the Hornets had no choice. Cause i-obe refused to play for them period. 5b4i-obe is a big pampered baby ,and he is so used to it.

i feel as tho your making WAY to many generalizations. I was saying he wasnt winning one in cleveland because of prior results. I do not however believe that they were a bad team. They had the best record in the NBA for multiple seasons.
With your other point, Lebron is classless, as are most players in the nba. Further, dude im a knicks fan, so the whole "decision" was not only pointless, it was down right loathsome. I have more of a problem with the production that he caused, as opposed to the decision itself.
The heat lost the finals last year not because of Lebrons apathy, but rather it was because dallas was a better TEAM, which tells you something else about the dynamic of what comprises a good nba team.
Also whos faulting the heat for the way they formed a team. If the lakers were to have gotten chris paul this year, that likely would have been accepted by most of the nba community. It wasnt as if dwayne wade made the signing himself, management did.
With all that being said, if i was an NBA team and i could have one player, does not matter who, im taking lebron in a second, im taking him over, kobe, melo, durant, wade, howard, rose, pauletc.
P.S. I was one of the original posters i actually just responded to the AD post fron like 11/10 but i just wanted to say from that i understand where u and the others were coming from. I was like you who loathed the show during its first, actually going out of my way to make sure i didnt watch it.
Ill give you one joke from the pilot which made me love it.
When the SEC are about to board the Bluth ship, Lucille, Lindsay and Buster make a bee line to ships contol center, and gives buster the map( we previously see that buster has taken a class in mapping out new lands) and once given the map buster, while having a panic attack, goes so the blue on the map must be land, then faints.
Then when they are in the police station and Lucille says shes making buster in charge, michael goes, buster?, the guy who thought the blue on the map was land,
Now after writing and re-reading this i can see how in writing it might not be funny. But i found it hilarious.
Ive wound up watching the series about 5-6 times, and love it, i also feel as my mission on earth is to open as many people up to it as possible.
