I like to write a lot of songs and I decided to write a tribute song about the late Lady T like she has with 2pac, John Lennon, and Marvin Gaye.
"The Most Beautiful Sound"
You artfully skilled your words
So your voice could be heard
Looks can be deceiving to the eyes
And you proved it to many lives
The most beautiful sound; magic like Aladdin
When I heard the news I was saddened
Another one gone from this Earth
I didn't know this could hurt
Your departure had us unnerved
You said miracles need wings to fly
It's gonna take us effort to say goodbye
Your voice touched many hearts
You're the definition of art
All I know is that you were smiling
When you finally joined the choir
Now you're higher
Singing that song again
Without a trace of sin
And I'll pray for your rose seed
Your sound was for us to heed
If we lose, we should throw possums -
