I'm fixing to go to movies..and just like with Biggie and Michael, I am gonna crack my window slightly(snowing here) and pump her up for the next weekshe is on my phone as well as a couple of mp3 players. It's time. Ashame that all the greats Gladys, Ross, Mills, whenever you hear a set of theirs, 3 songs or more, you have to suspect they died. They should just play them in general on a regular basis.

I know, I'm listening to Fire and Desire and just blasted my Facebook page with a bunch of her vids. I'm sad, but happy to see on here and on Facebook how much everyone is going to miss this powerful, beautiful voice.
Lady T, you are now a legend.

Agreed Sublimeno disrespect to today's artist, but they just don't make them like Teena anymore. Teena was awe inspired, she had a talent like no other. Forget about the fact that she was white, her voice exuded pure soul and ecstacy from the beginning of a song to the very end.
She played many instruments as well..a true genuine talent..she sure will be missed. Say Hi to Rick and the rest of the greats.

              RIP Lady T
I'm in shock. I've always been a fan of hers. Portuguese Love, Revolution are my favourites.

We'll let's just say it like this. I didn't cry but I really feel sad to find out anyone died. But I will admit that I cried when Michael Jackson died! I was truly a big fan of his.

Not cryingyet; unsure if I will. I am still in shock. She was my all time favorite female artist, talent, musician. She truly rocked. I will celebrate her life; her music. She gave us so much. She was truly authentic. Still digesting this. She will try be missed.

Not crying, as tears don't come easily to me anymore. But I'm putting on "Square Biz" as soon as I get home.

I'm still in shock, I didn't cry at first, I just had a kinda blank look on my face for about 20 minutes, the same happened when I heard about Bernie Mac, Michael Jackson, Isaac Hayes, Gerald Levert & Heath Ledger. I just didn't think this would happen to her, she was still young, I mean, it's just like Michael's death in terms of shock, he was 51. Lady T was 54. It's so sad when the great talents die so young. Remember Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye? It's heartbreaking to even see Teena's picture near the words "Rest in Peace." Teena, you were truly a legend, truly one of THE best.

As a tribute, I played "Ooh La La La" in my car and on Facebook because it was the first song that made me familiar with her.
