Do the right thing and go to a shelter to see about saving and adopting one from there instead of being part of the problem if you don't do that.

Any animal will be a huge responsibility for someone like Chris.
With vet bills, feeding and any other expenses I don't see how this could happen where it would be in good health.
She needs to go to a shelter where if they are responsible they will give her a very fine background check to make sure she can care for it.
If she goes through a pet breeder those ****ers won't care just so they can make money by exploiting animals for their profits which isn't right.

I doubt they have the resources for just one person.
I think what you could do is email/call and they may have someone who can give advice on what can be done in regards on how to prevent Chris from getting her bitch hands on a dog.
As for the bigger picture perhaps if you asked or suggest this could influence them to try and lobby to get laws passed for places, like the animal slave trade go between that handles dogs between puppy mills and humans, to do background checks instead of just banking account checks.
That is, if they do not do that already.
Our hearts are in the right place, or in a better one than Chris's is, with our cares and concerns for a dog to not end up with her.
I hope this is her latest troll or pipe dream as she so often does with other things that she wants that never materializes.
I doubt she can actually follow through with this and where is she getting the money for it anyway?
In any case she could use a good bitch slap to give her a good reality check and to STFU with this ****.

Don't do it.
After spending all that money you will end up dumping it off to a shelter anyway when you actually see how difficult it is in having a husky or any dog.
