It truly is. I became a huge fan of hers in 2001 when my aunt had her radio on and I heard
"Ooh-La-La-La"
and I recognized it as the song the Fugees sampled for
"Fugee-La
and asked her who the lady was singing it. Since then I was completely in love with that song and sought out other works she did. I even did a PowerPoint presentation in my Sociology 102 class on her and found so much info that I got an "A". I am so hurt that she passed in her sleep and hope we can here more info as to what the cause was.
