OK then guys, you talk a big game, so I'm going to invite you over to my house for dinner and without your knowledge I will feed you Donkey Testicles and we shall see if you twits stay relaxed and not over-react to it. I doubt it, you guys will cry and whine about it just like you do on this board. And oh-boy I guess Americans should be happy to have such cultural snobs like you guys who act all high-and-mighty and superior to teach us the ways of the world huh???? Do me a favor and take your sheeps brains and offal and what ever and stick em in your arses. Oh and ichigo chan, I really hope that a putz like you hasn't or never will breed, because there's enough tragedy and ugliness in this world already.

I'd be happy to eat Donkey Testicles. When I go to Vietnam next year I will be SEEKING dog, snake and everything else I can get my hands on.
I hate when Westerners say some food is bad for you because of *ARBITRARY morals. It's just like in any other prejudiceyou're scared of something you don't know or understand.
My mom who is Viet has already been conformed to Western ways and thinks all of her Viet food that is not fish or beef or pork is "wrong" and "immoral." (My dad is white, and he amusingly likes eating weird things and has cooked sheep's brain for me before!) It is so ridiculous.
We eat other organisms that were living. What or where it came from shouldn't matter at ALL. (I mean why does it matter? There is no reason for it to matter.) The ONLY thing you should take into consideration is disease and with careful raising and cleaning that can be avoided (for offal). Only organisms with a high risk of disease transmission (such getting Kuru from monkeys) should be avoided. Similarly I wouldn't eat an animal I raised as a pet because I presumably loved itit's like killing your child to eat it however if a dog was raised as a farm animal or just caught, then I have NO qualms about eating it.
Sheep have foot and mouthI could go review the literature to see if infections of people by foot and mouth is at all possible. I'll post that later.
Westerners eat cheese which is rotten milk basically wine is rotten juice. Miso is rotten soybeans, etc.

I've eaten sheep brain straight from the skull. In some countries it's normal. I didn't like it, but it wasn't a big deal. What's so different about eating brains compared to eating any other part of an animal? Grow up.

Ok, let me tell you something. I have had "brains" for a mealthey are amazing. Tender, flavorful. I'm glad I tried them. I'm not a fan of Gordon, although I do catch bits of Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen NIghtmares. But I do appreciate that he at least is able to convince his kids to try something. But a bit of skull in the meat is kind of grossdid someone at home chew him out for that? I hope so!

This is the most stupid comment I've seen in a long time. Brains of different animals have and are still eaten all over the US. Waste not want not is a good thing to teach kids.
I suggest you get out of mickyds, put the hotpockets back, and look outside of what your closed mind is used to. If you don't like it fine don't eat it. Just because something has never been served in the rock you live under assume its gross or not fit to feed anybody.
The skull is a thick bone and shatters when cracking. I learned at a young age to not be surprised if a bone fragment gets found. Eat something besides fish sticks and every now and then you find a pin bone.
Oh I'm born and raised in the USA and fairly young @ 32. Some of the things in my grandmothers cookbooks even leave me wondering. Of the stuff I've tried I can't complain tho.

I'd worry about CreutzfeldtJakob disease myself.
              He said,
"Just put your feet down child,
'Cause you're all grown up now."

I travel to a lot of different countries, all can say is there are a lot of countries where people eat the brains of different animals, it's not something I would eat unless I was starving.
Besides in a slaughter house things like hot dogs get made with a lot of left over bits of pigs, chickens and2000 cows. There are places where people eat bulls testicles.
I think humans will eat almost anything, the first time I went to Indonesia monkey brains were on the menu in a restaurant we visited. It's not something I would eat but we were told it was a popular item, I've seen offered in other countries on the menu as well.
I'm not a big meat eater but to each his own, I just saw a menu item in the news I think they called it a Snoop Dogg Critzo, it's made with chicken, macaroni and cheese sandwiched between two waffles then deep fried and served with syrup poured over it. That doesn't sound appealing to me but apparently according to that news story it's popular.
Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.

How is that any different from eating, say, cow livers? I think you need to grow up a bit and realize different people eat different things. You want to know a really popular dish where I live? It's called Mountain Oysters. And that's not shellfish of any kind (Google it). As for the piece of skull, did you know some people eat bone marrow and it is considered high brow food? You need to come out of your little box and realize there's an entire world out there who does things differently than you do and that doesn't make it gross or child abuse or anything else.
Oh and I'm guessing a little sheep brain is healthier than McDonalds.

And as for your idea of it putting your kids in therapy, it's only going to do that if you first make them believe eating it is wrong and THEN force them to eat it. I've eaten plenty of things that many people in society might think is gross or wrong and I have yet to have any unresolved issues because of it. In fact, because of it I believe I'm a more well-rounded person.

PS In a society where kids are taught it is ok to take one bite and throw the rest away, teaching your child not to be wasteful is very responsible parenting.
Oh and how is finding a piece of skull any different from finding, say, a piece of fish bone or chicken bone? But you probably only eat chicken nuggets and fish that was breaded and previously frozen.
