so many reality stars out there these days don't actually have a REAL job. at least she does. she is a professor at Howard University which is an amazing school (and one of my good friends goes there, just a side note) and she is pursuing a doctorate degree. she may be a bitch at times, but it is refreshing to see a reality star with a good, well-respected job and with brains. if you hate her you can at least give her that much!

In spite of what people think being a reality "STAR" is their job, the women on "The Real Housewives of Whatever Idiot City They Reside" get $10,000.00 for doing the series, and most of them are over 40 years of age and basically get paid to act like obnoxious teenage girls.
There are casting agencies that hire people to be on reality series, I don't even watch that much reality television, but I've had three friends who did reality series and i asked them how they got on the shows and their agents sent them to the auditions. Two of them did "Blind Date" and one auditioned for something on MTV, and one of the women who did "Blind Date" also did another dating series, and a game show.
If you watch even a few series you'll start to notice the same people, and she does constantly do reality programs, I think some people just like being on television and constantly trying to2000 keep that 15 minutes of fame going for as long as they can.
Look at her television appearances for just 2010 as herself, and she has a movie coming out, so she may be teaching and going to school, but she's a media whore just like all the other reality "STARS".

Why are you replying to me, I didn't say anything about her deserving any credit, but people honestly don't watch reality series to see nice people. The mean people always bring in higher ratings, just like people enjoy watching a good villain on a scripted series.
I just saw Patrick Duffy talking about the passing of Larry Hagman and how his portrayal of J.R. Ewing and how much he changed the series when came on as the villain.
