I loved her portayal of marianne. Amazing! Much better than Kate Winslet. I will keep an intrigued eye on her career.

She's doing a great job in Sense and Sensibility. Charity is a very talented and pretty actress. I look forward to seeing her in more series and movies in the future!

I don't agree that Charity's Marianne was superior to Kate's Marianne, but she did do the role justice.

They say that she's just been cast as Marianne Dashwood. I think that Charity will be good her CV says that she has a strong soprano voice, too. (Marianne is very musical). Good luck to her; I hope that this new S&S comes out well.

Your prediction was right - she is great as Marianne! Im loving this new series - its so much more passionate and addictive then the emma thompson/kate winslet film.
I think she is so beautiful, and a very believable actress!

This is a blast from the past!!
My Dad phoned me up on Sunday and asked if i was watching Sense & Sensibility, i said no but i put it on anyway, he said have you seen who is in it, i sort of recognised the actress on the screen, and all became clear when he said it was Charity.
Charity Wakefield ( she has changed her surname ) is the step daughter of my Dads friend and ex businesss partner, and i can remember plenty of times when i was a lot younger going to her house and playing, messing about etc. She was great to be around and i regarded her as a good friend. Unfortunately the partnership between my dad and Charity's step dad was split up, and only saw her occasionally from then on, as she lived a fair distance from me, and could only go up there when my dad did!
The last time i saw her was at a sports day at her old junior school, i think in about 1991, when i had to come down from my school and assist with the day with several other classmates. And that was it until my Dad phoned me on Sunday saying he had got a Christmas card from her Grandmother saying Merry Christmas and watch out for Charity on TV in the new year in this rather high profile BBC drama.
I can say i was suitably impressed, and would like to say well done on her achievements and skills, im sure we will be seeing a lot more of her from now on.
