Y+R vs. GH

She was on General Hospital a little while longer than she has been on The Young and The Restless up to this point therefore she had some more to do at GH than at Y&R if you can believe it.
But for some reason they began to cut the airtime of her on screen family. Wally Kurth(Ned) and Lesli Kay(Lois) saw their airtime whittled down to almost nothing before they were released from the show and the same thing happened to Adrianne and her character BrookLynn. One thing is for sure. Adrianne Leon was showcased well enough by GH. They let her showcase her musical abilities(She sang on the show a couple of times) and they made Brooklynn into a onscreen replica of what Adrianne Leon was at the time she came to GH a tough independent musically inclined alternative rocker with an edge to her.
Going to The Young and The Restless has been a big upgrade for AL in her acting career. Despite all the backstage changes going on at Y&R these days, it is still the number one daytime soap in the US and a great deal better than General Hosp2000ital.
They don't display and haven't displayed any of her musical talents here but she has grown and developed as an actress somewhat more than when she was at GH. She also is part of an stable on screen family at Y&R and is part of one of the big couples at Y&R ,JT and Colleen. AL never really had a big on screen love interest for her Brooklynn character at GH.
More importantly she looks better at Y&R right now than she did at GH. At GH Brooklynn always was made to look like some gothic creature from the Addams Family. At Y&R she looks cute and very sexy.
Adrianne Leon went to TPTB at GH and talked about her lack of airtime just a couple of months before she left for Y&R. I believe she is happier and getting more work and airtime now at Y&R than she ever did at GH. I think she is hotter now than she was at GH however circumstances and conditions are better for her now than before and that makes that realization more apparent.
