Trump, DeSantis and Vivek all have more or less the same voter bases so there was going to be obvious cannibalizing of votes. Much like how Elizabeth Warren only stayed in the 2020 primaries to take votes from Sanders to prevent him from getting the nomination since they had similar voting bases.
If DeSantis or Vivek were taking on Haley alone with Trump out of the picture, she wouldn't have had a chance.

That's not a bad point but without Trump many of his voters won't even be voting. It could just go back to the traditional republican base that voted for Bush, McCain, Romney, and a Nikki Haley would be right up their alley.

If he lives that long.
Then he has to be interested in running.
If he is not a total asshole, douche **** up then the Retardagains will have to consider letting him run if they think he has a chance to win.
Then there are primaries to see if the voters will want him.
Though it all starts with if Turd Lump is not a four year **** up like he was the last time in 2020 where voters were fed up with and rejected him making him lose that election and voted in Basement Biden out of desperation to flush the Turd down the toilet.
We shall see but if Turd Face is a **** up of a president again then I expect a blue wave starting in 2026 and maybe in 2028.
