If something seems uptight and a problem, they can recognize it, like a frog catching a fly! all in agreement! Things pop up and they solve their problem and they move on to the next thing. You're totally right, though, the different generations seem different, though.
…And it's not a good thing. Even the attractive ones of privileged generations, like Late Baby Boomers, have problems with people thinking they're "just" lucky to be from that generation like maybe they don't stand out, after all, and it's an emotionally crippling experience and situation etc.
