Same man?

He could have had a different jacket packed away in his backpack. Yes, you can wear a backpack with spinal fusions, especially with straps over both shoulders. He's wearing a mask because (a) it's cold outside and/or (b) to hide/conceal his face from view.
There have been a lot of theories floating around that these are pictures of two different men, and conspiracy theories thinking that they've arrested the wrong guy, and that Luigi is a fall guy, much like Oswald with Kennedy. Some serious MK Ultra kind of stuff. His social circle isn't buying it and there was just way too much "evidence" found on him 5 days later that seemed a little too convenient - like who wouldn't dump the firearm, ammo and manifesto, etc., you know?
Many people have brought up the eyebrows, but that can also be due to resolution in the pictures or the angles, so while worthy of discussion and definitely a good observation, it's also just one feature and can be explained away.
The sale of the jacket he's been photographed wearing has been soaring through the roof and the seller has been having a hard time keeping them in stock. Notice one pic, the jacket has pockets, and the other pic, no pockets? That's why I wonder if he packed a backup coat in his backpack or just bought a 2nd coat. The "mask" (scarf) looks the same (it's just pulled up over the lower face).
He's got a new lawyer now, but what's kind of fishy is that he comes from an ultra-rich family, and I haven't seen anything about his family appointing an attorney for him or even getting involved.

His mother also said the man in the photos looks like her son
I find it strange that his family isn't visiting him

There are a lot of questions surrounding this whole thing. Luigi wasn't even a subscriber to United Healthcare. Of course, that being said, United Healthcare is by far and away the worst healthcare in America. They suck. They are responsible for so many deaths, and so many complications. They have denied so many claims that never should have been denied. They demand pre-authorizations for almost everything.
They barely pay anything for the patients' claims, all while their CEOs rake in $30 million every year each in salaries and the profit margins go through the roof. It's all about the shareholders and not the patients and their health. They're absolutely horrible.
Most health insurance companies are leeches and operate the same way - he just targeted the worst one, which makes me wonder if he had been doing homework on the histories of these companies. With a very wealthy family, I would imagine his family would assist in paying his medical bills, but regardless, it sounds like whatever his insurance was, they put him through hell as he tried to recover from his surfing injury.
He went on an ayahuasca journey which may have messed with his brain chemistry, but if he was in chronic pain, that can often drive people to do some crazy stuff. Not making excuses for his behaviour, just saying chronic pain is undertreated and misunderstood.

I agree about chronic pain
I read that his mom has chronic back pain and her claim was denied

Really? I wonder if SHE was a patient of United Healthcare.
I'm not condoning assassination, but it may be a link that the defense will bring up in terms of intention/motivation.
I'm sure it had absolutely no correlation, but right after this shooting, BCBS decided to revamp and extend their coverage of anesthesia hours in surgery. Anesthesia is often the most expensive part of surgery (or at least it's incredibly expensive, proportionately). I recall having a surgery that was around $7,000 and the anesthesia price was $5,000. Granted, it's a high-risk field to get into, but the insurance limiting the hours was causing doctors to rush through surgery or requiring patients to have more than one procedure and thus go under general anesthesia more than once.
It's really interesting that with how high profile this case is, we're not hearing anything about his family.

They dont want to take a political hit for supporting a Killer.
It’s actually quite common, because many times nowadays the cops want to charge the family too!

Did you see the perp walk they did with him today? He was surrounded by so many people, including Mayor Adams looking for his photo op because he's trying to win people over given that he's up for reelection - which is probably why he's suddenly and out of the blue changed his mind about fighting Homan, determined to protect the gangs hiding out in his city, to suddenly talking about how important it is to protect the American citizens who voted for secure borders. He's done a total 180. Regardless, this whole walk with Luigi was orchestrated and recorded like they were filming it for a movie and definitely more focused on getting good publicity and photos as opposed to moving right along to get him to safety.

There are a LOT of videos out there that are saying he's not the same guy, but that this is a set up, and he's a patsy. It's not just the eyebrows but in the full-face picture, his nose is slenderer. There are rumblings that this was a hit and he's just a fall guy and the "evidence" was just way too convenient - and I have to admit, it's bizarre for an assassin to still have all of that stuff on him in his backpack days after the event.
People are still bringing up the change in jackets (the different colour, the pockets, etc.) To the best of my knowledge, he has not denied being the shooter, but then again, either did Oswald.
The worst part is, regardless of the people cheering Luigi on for his actions, nothing is going to change. It's not going to make a lick of difference. It was still the death of an innocent man (who had a dirty job).
