They are not equally wrong. Miffed or not, from the evidence shown, she did nothing wrong. She has a right to feel spurred by his treatment of her.

I don't disagree, she should have kicked him to the kerb when he started making demands like that.
Her reasons for posting the messages, that she wanted to warn his current girlfriend what kind of guy he is? Not sure I believe that it was done with altruistic intent and that was my point. Also posting private messages was pretty scummy.
I don't really want to get into who is more to blame, it just shouldn't be fought out in public at all. -

Not all abuse, or if that's too strong a word for you manipulation and attempts to control are physically forced. It comes in more subtle forms like this.
It wasn't scummy to expose his ass. It doesn't have to be altruistic. If it was purely for herself, there is no issue with standing up for herself.
No, it should be public. This behavior staying private is what perpetuates it.

What he was asking was clearly unrealistic given her chosen career and the fact that her photos aren't particularly revealing. Even if they were, she's not his property.
Look, it is very weird, manipulative behaviour, it reads like an insecure, jealous guy who wants to control her.
I don't think it's as black and white as painted, there was allegedly some sort of crossover where he might have been promising marriage and babies to the ex but seeing the new girlfriend. Did she still want him?
He did give her the get out clause and she's out of it. She should move on and enjoy her life without him because honestly he sounds like hard word. -

I'm not saying it's black and white. It almost never is. If it was, I doubt these types would have any enablers, but if you know the red flags, they stick out, like… well, red flags.
Controlling types often give the illusion of freedom. It's often more psychological and manipulative than physically forceful. He was holding their relationship hostage to get her to do what he wanted.
