I've never tried any type of delivered holiday meals.
It sounds great as long as it's a reputable restaurant and the price is reasonable..
Problem???
Good luck finding a reputable restaurant with reasonable prices.
Good luck finding a good restaurant….
I prefer preparing and cooking my own turkey day dinner. It's always the best!

I'm from the Midwest. Explain WHOLE FOODS!

I have never heard of this Whole Food place. I have never heard of Sprouts.
I do know that there are some restaurants and some grocery stores who will deliver complete holiday dinners, ordered in advance.
What do these places charge???

$25.00 a head? I suppose that isn't unreasonable.
That includes desert, right?

Sounds good! The pecan part sounds great!!!
I'm making one pumpkin pie and one sweet potato pie!
I'm making one big feast, but what I most look forward to is the leftovers all weekend long!

Yummy! We got this Cajun Popeyes heat and serve deep fried Turkey our youngest wanted it and now he’s not coming. We had one last year and it was good. We don’t cook that much anymore as there is no one here to cook for. It’s frozen but defrost heat and serve with HoneyBakedHam sides. I don’t even want it now so my husband is making dirty rice and gumbo.

Since our son left, we have traveled several times to have Thanksgiving with him, his husband and mutual friends over the years. We have also stayed home and feasted on Pizza.
One of our favorite Thanksgiving feasts was lobster, crab, shrimp, clams and assorted salads. We love seafood!
I guess that it really doesn't matter what you eat or how you spend your day… alone or with a crowd,
Whatever the situation, Thanksgiving is a day to reflect and be thankful for what you have.

I have heard of Kroger. Are they still in business?
Safeway sounds like a gas station… I have never heard of the others you mentioned.
We have IGA, Piggly Wiggly, Aldi, and Walmart.
There are also the dollar type stores…
I suppose it's all a matter of location.
I've just googled some of these places. my husband just said that he has heard of this Whole Foods. He assumed it was some grocery store on the west coast.
Whatever… We have never been there.
I guess you learn something new everyday!

You’re in the south? Safeway is like Kroger. They are like Piggly Wiggly and IGA. There is a Kroger Albertson merger that is trying to be blocked. Kroger has many grocery stores under different names depending on the region. I’ve only been in a small Aldi and I had to box my own groceries and never went back.

Sprouts and Whole Foods were in Houston. They have Krogers, Safeway, Albertsons, Aldi and my favorite HEB. -

No. I'm in the north… Wisconsin.
I have never been to a Safeway. By what you say, I assume it isn't a gas station after all?
