Stepson shot his Son
He became known as a bounty hunter on TV – now a fatal incident occurred in Duane Chapman's family.
The circumstances are still unclear.

Gregory Zecca, the son of Chapman's wife Francie, allegedly accidentally shot his own 13-year-old son, Anthony. The incident reportedly occurred Saturday evening in an apartment in Naples, Florida. Police were alerted to a gunshot at around 20:00 p.m. local time. Officers found a boy fatally wounded at the scene. Investigators described the incident as an
"isolated incident"
. No arrests were made.
The investigation is ongoing.
"Dog" Chapman works with Stepson
Gregory Zecca is from Francie Chapman's first marriage and therefore Duane Chapman's stepson. He was part of the bounty hunter's team for some time. Duane Chapman and Francie are married since 2021.

In a joint statement, Duane Chapman and his wife asked for restraint and respect for their privacy. They sent a statement through a spokesperson:
"We grieve as a family in the face of this unimaginable tragic accident and ask for continued prayers as we mourn the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony."
Duane Chapman rose to international fame through his reality show
"Dog the Bounty Hunter"
, produced 2004-2012, the show aired in Germany on several channels. His now-deceased wife, Beth Chapman, also appeared on the show. Appearances in other TV formats followed.

That was truly an accident and a terrible tragedy.
I hope everyone is taking good care of Zecca, who is in grave danger now (guilt).
His Instagram is gone.
And Beth Chapman died of cancer in 2019.
